But out of limitations comes creativity...

Let's make some rings :)

You will need :

Cute paper, or make your own.

And ...

Cut and glue with Mod Podge a piece of your beautiful paper in the back of your marble ( I guess you could also use fabric).

Let it dry.

Now you need a ring base like this...

Since I don't have this kind of base I used some other kind (I had to cut something off but no one knows, only you)

And that's it..just hot glue your marble to your base!

Easy! Easy! As A,B,C!!!

I'm Hoping to...

Oh boy, today me and my lovely daughter Ariana tried for the very first time "Origami".

Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures.
Now I know I am going to have to go shopping for more paper very soon.

Man! The things you can do with paper are unreal!

This is the site I got the instructions to make my very first cup chair and box.

I am going to have more pictures later but just want to share those with you.

By the way this is a great quite craft to do with your kids... Ariana was so happy to see her chair. It makes my heart happy to see my Princess happy :)

If you haven't tried and you like crafts I can tell you that you will love it! To me it was very relaxing.

Little box :)

I think is cute!

Now is Origami

Make sure to check it out her Blog , grab some coffee, tea, juice, plain H2O, or some light soy milk (that's what I'm drinking right now) and come party with us!

The only bread that came out good coming from me LOL

I have made many many many Rock Bread!!!!!!!!!

You know, the bread that your kids can play basketball and trow against the wall and it won't break it!!!!!!!

Oh! But I finally found my Perfect Bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made it last night and I am going to share the recipe with you.

The recipe comes from a website from Brazil, so if you want to go there click

HERE

After reading the reviews from the website

I made some changes from the original recipe.

Here it is...

Ingredients:

4 egss

8 Tbsp. sugar

1 Tsp. salt

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup warm milk

                                                       2 envelopes Fleischmann's RapidRise yeast

Flour... almost 1 Kg.

Put in the blender the first 6 ingredients.

Take out of the blender and place in  large bowl.

Add the flour little by little.

Place dough on a surface to knead.

Now work it girl! Knead that dough up!
You don't have to let it rest, but I put the dough back in the bowl

and let it sit inside the microwave for like 10 minutes.

Now shape the bread the way you want.

Bake on 350 for 20 minutes or until you see some color on top of the bread.

While the bread is baking get 2 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water and cook on low heat.

Right after you take the bread out of the oven you pour some of that over the bread.

That's it.

If you have any question please let me know and I will be more than happy to answer.

I made it last night and this morning it was very soft, not hard at all :)

With coffee Yum!

Even the crust outside is really soft!

Next time I want to try to make with whole wheat flour and brown sugar, I'll let you know :)

Delish Sweet Bread Super Easy

I was going to try  recipe for Clay using Glue, but instead I made one for the kids :)

Tomorrow I'll be making the one with Glue, that way they already have some to play with.

Right here at Disney Family Fun you can get the recipe.

I made one thing different, instead of using cream of tartar I used lemon juice (same amount).

So again you can go to the website and get the Recipe, but I will tell you the ingredients...

1 cup flour

1 cup water

1/2 cup salt

1 tsp. vegetable oil

1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Food Coloring

You know what? Now that I am writing this I kind think I used one tablespoon of oil and not teaspoon

LOL.... Ups! Too much oil... Oh well, I will try to add some more flour tomorrow.

As you will find out after going to the site you cook the dough, but not for long, it cooks really fast.

Not long after that and you'll have this...

Now you can  knead it.

And you will have this beautiful smooth dough....

You can divide the dough into pieces if you want to use the food coloring to make colorful Play Clay.

Is this beautiful or what?????

I just Love homemade anything :) !!!!!!!!!

You can store the dough in a container, I like to put each color in a bag and inside a container

like this...

That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very easy!

Now the mess.......... not fun ;)

Have Fun making Your Play Clay :)

Thanks for coming.

This is my very "first" recipe!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking for cakes recipes last week because I wanted to use this Flax seed I had for a while.

I found bread, cookies and cakes recipes.

After looking up so many... I took one ingredient from each, add some more and made my own.

I wanted to be whole wheat, no white flour at all :)

Oh just to let you know... if you don't like the taste of healthy stuff this is not for you.

Me, I love the taste of whole wheat bread and brown rice... so this is a cake for me :)

Here is my recipe...

Whole Wheat Flax Banana Cake

Ingredients:

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tbsp. dark corn syrup

1 mashed banana

3 tbsp. flax seed

1 and 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 cup water (next time I will use soy milk)

That's it... mix just like you would mix other cakes, nothing special.

Bake at 350.
